Specializations

The studio's mission is the care and conservation of both historic and contemporary artwork, using a combination of modern methods and traditional techniques. 

The utmost care and attention is paid to each work of art. We work with private collectors, galleries, dealers, appraisers, insurance companies, museums, framers and others to restore and conserve works throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and worldwide. 

ACT Art Conservation is a proud member of the  American Institute of Conservation and ICON (Institute of Conservation ), and holds active memberships with the following organizations and institutions: 

Bay Area Art Conservation Guild, Western Association for Art Conservation, Artistic License Guild, ArtTable, Hand Bookbinders of California,Friends of Florence, Save Venice, Monuments Men Foundation and more.
